Diaper Drive Success

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to volunteer or donate to this cause. We collected over 4,500 diapers, adult guards and wipes! We had a fun day of volunteering too.

Diaper Drive Tomorrow!

The day is finally here! Tomorrow will be our third annual Diaper Drive at the Wal-mart on Burgess Road. The Drive will begin at 8 AM and continue until 2 PM. Easter Egg Hunt

This past Saturday, March 23rd, Student United Way held an Easter Egg Hunt for Mercy House. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a great time. We even got an Easter  Bunny costume for the event!

JMU Day of Service

The Day of Service was a huge success and a lot of fun. We were the only club on campus working the community service during President Alger's Inauguration. We also made it on the JMU homepage! Check it out here: http://www.jmu.edu/ 

JMU Day of Service

Two weeks from now, Student United Way will be participating in JMU's Day of Service. The week of March 11th is to celebrate JMU's newest president, President Alger, and his inauguration. We would love for everyone to get involved by signing up to help out March 12th anytime between 10 AM and 3 PM to run service projects on campus! Rock Painting Delayed

Big thanks to everyone who came out to our dinner at Festival last night! Unfortunately, because of wind we are postponing the painting of the rock until April 9th. It should be warm then so you definitely do not want to miss this Madison Tradition! 

Roberta Webb Child Care Center

Last Tuesday, on Assessment Day, the members of Student United Way went to Roberta Webb Child Care Center to play with the kids. We were with the three and four year old children and everyone had a blast! We brought the kids to a playground, made trail mix and played with a parachute. The kids loved being able to play with the "big kids," and our members enjoyed providing these children with a fun day too!
